LRAD systems broadcast audible hails and warnings to potential threats and intruders, increasing the effectiveness of EOF in uncertain circumstances.

Coast Guard
The Coast Guard is experiencing increased territorial water incursions and homeland security threats. LRAD’s powerful voice broadcasts and attention-commanding tones enable coast defense personnel to determine the intent vessels that are not responding to radio calls. They also enforce marine and littoral zone regulations.

Naval bases

The U.S. Military uses remotely operated LRAD-RX systems to enforce exclusion zones and perimeter security around certain naval bases, including the Bahrain Naval Base Pier.

The LRAD 500X-RE is lightweight, compact, and can be used for various applications, such as fixed security installations, mid-sized vessels and vehicles. It can easily be mounted and transported to provide law enforcement and homeland security personnel unmatched long-range communication that is safe and scalable.

LRAD 1000Xi

The LRAD 1000Xi long-distance communication system is power efficient. It is used for critical infrastructure protection, port security, large vessel and vehicle installations, and border, port, and territorial water security. The LRAD 1000Xi features a full carbon fiber emitter head with electronics and amplifiers. It also comes standard with an MP3 control module for playing recorded messages and an all-weather microphone to broadcast live voice messages.

LRAD 1950XL

Operators can use the LRAD 1950XL to issue clear, authoritative warnings and verbal commands. They can also use attention-commanding tones to alter threat behavior, increase response capabilities, initiate and scale EOF, and change threat behavior.

LRAD 2000Xs

LRAD 2000X’s superior voice clarity and intelligibility allow directional audio broadcasts that communicate with extraordinary precision well beyond normal distances. Broadcasts will be heard clearly and understood from a distance of up to 5,500m, regardless of terrain or environment.
